Smart unit that will read from your USB DL uniit, and send the data over the Internet.

You can access the data from anywhere in the world.

The unit is simply plugged in to your Unihedron SQM-LU-DL unit. Configuration is managed via a simple web interface.

If there is no wifi at your location, we can provide a GSM modem, configured to send the data over a mobile data connetion.

We can provide server space and software that handles and saves the incoming data, giving you access to live and historical data. This requires a subscription.

You can also provide your own server, which requires some familiarity with web and database server configuration.

The listed price is for the connectivity unit only, and does not include the USB datalogger, weatherproof housing, solar panel or wifi connection.

Please note that this is not a Unihedron product, but an accessory for the Unihedron data logging unit.

The "Sky Quality Meter - L" measures the brightness of the night sky in magnitudes per square arcsecond.

Unprecedented sensitivity in a handheld meter!

Uses:

Find out how good the night or site REALLY is.
Compare the sky brightness at different sites quantitatively.
Document the evolution of light pollution in your area.
Set planetarium dome illumination to mimic the skies people are likely to experience elsewhere in the city.

This housing design is made to protect the SQM-LE/LU from normal outdoor conditions including weather and insects.

Features:

White surfaces reflect the hot summer sunshine.
Opening on bottom to allow moisture to escape.
Glass top to prevent scratching when removing ice.
Raised glass surface to prevent dirt and leaves from collecting.
Small glass opening to minimize internal heating due to the Sun.
